The coach
Rowan Vale, and a plain way of working
I spent years watching capable people quit training because the plan assumed a life they
didn't have. So Signal Flint starts the other way round: what your week actually looks like,
what your body is currently willing to do, and what you want to still be doing in a decade.
From there we build slowly and deliberately. Barbells and dumbbells for most of it, because
loading something heavy and putting it down again remains the most reliable thing in the room.
Everything is coached, recorded and reviewed — you always know why you're doing a movement.
- iTechnique before load. We earn weight; we don't borrow it from your lower back.
- iiWritten sessions. Every block is planned in advance and shared with you, not improvised at the door.
- iiiHonest scaling. Bad sleep, long week, sore knee — the session adapts instead of collapsing.
